I am a Buddhist, who is a member of a sect containing just one member (that would be me). I have friends in the Soka Gakkai USA, but I don't consider myself to be a Nichiren Buddhist. I've been chanting for 15 years; however, a year ago, my practice changed.

I now “chant” by reading aloud for one hour per day from the English language translation of the “Lotus Sutra,” by Burton Watson. In it, I learned that Shakyamuni Buddha did not die those thousands of years ago in India; that he is very much alive and among us today (“though because of the befuddlement of ordinary people, they cannot see me even though I am always close by”).

I am also running for election in 2008 to become the next US president. I am also convinced that I will win that election.

I hope you can spare some time to read my blog which I am energetically maintaining here at Zaadz. I've posted over 70 daily entries, each of which deals with some aspect of my campaign or attempts to introduce my inner self to you, as best I can.

Please circulate my blogs as widely as possible, since I'm counting on the Butterfly Effect to power my campaign for the presidency. This will also aid the greater cause of electing Independents to replace the Gang of 535: That is, all members of the U.S. HoR (say “whore;” stands for “House of Representatives”) and Senate.
